At AGPM, LLC, we are proud to celebrate the grand opening of Banyan East Town Apartments, a 92-unit affordable housing development in the heart of Altamonte Springs. This community represents more than just new construction—it reflects our commitment to creating housing opportunities that empower families, support upward mobility, and foster vibrant neighborhoods.
On Friday, April 11, 2025, local leaders and development partners gathered at 1010 Merritt Street for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark this exciting milestone. Guests had the opportunity to tour a model apartment and explore the property’s modern amenities, including a clubhouse, fitness center, and community meeting rooms.
Banyan East Town Apartments was designed with purpose. Located near the Altamonte Springs SunRail station, the development serves households earning 60 percent or less of the Area Median Income (AMI). In addition to green infrastructure and thoughtfully designed living spaces, residents will benefit from a range of no-cost programs focused on adult literacy, financial wellness, and employment support.
This project was made possible through a collaborative effort between local government, financial institutions, and development leaders. We were honored to join Mayor Pat Bates, Commissioner Amy Lockhart, Representative David Smith, Ron Lieberman of Florida Housing Finance Corporation, Lesli Carroll of Truist Bank, The Treehouse Foundation, and our partners at Banyan Development Group in commemorating this shared achievement.
At AGPM, we believe affordable housing should never mean compromising on quality. We are committed to managing properties that uplift residents and strengthen the communities we serve. Banyan East Town Apartments stands as a testament to what can be accomplished when public and private sectors work hand-in-hand toward a common goal.
