The proposed Jackson Mariposa (Mariposa Grove) development will mark BDG’s and AGPM’s first high-rise senior community, bringing thoughtfully designed, affordable housing to the heart of Downtown Orlando, FL. Planned as a multi-story, mixed-use development, the project will feature 138 residential units for seniors, with retail space on the first two floors, residential living on the upper levels, and a dedicated parking garage. Residents will also enjoy amenities including a clubhouse, fitness center, and outdoor patio space located on the sixth floor, along with a signature Spanish butterfly mural that will enhance the building’s visual identity. While the project has progressed through various stages of design, initial funding has been secured through a combination of Tax-Exempt Bonds, SAIL funds, 4% LIHTC, and City of Orlando grant proceeds, positioning Jackson Mariposa as a transformative addition to Orlando’s urban landscape and a vibrant new community for seniors.
