The proposed Brisas de Osceola multifamily, affordable housing development is a 192-unit, 3-story, energy-efficient, wood-construction, garden-style, walk-up apartment community located in Kissimmee, FL. It’s located just south of Kissimmee’s Shingle Creek Park and north of SR 192.
Brisas de Osceola will serve low to very low income families in the area, with 85% of units being set aside for families making incomes of 60% Area Median Income (AMI) and 15% of the units for families making 33% AMI.
Residents of Brisas de Osceola will be located conveniently next to city resources, such as sub-mile travels to local grocery stores, doctors, and bike paths. Including Shingle Creek Park’s proposed 32-mile nature trail.
Construction has commenced and is expected to be completed and fully leased by the 3rd quarter of 2024.
The project will be funded by 4% Housing Credits, Multifamily Mortgage Revenue Bonds (MMRB), State Apartment Incentive Loan (SAIL), and Extremely Low Income (ELI) Gap Loan.
