Constructed in 2019, Banyan Cove is a 100% affordable senior development. 90% of the units were set-aside for residents at or below 60% of the Area Median Income (AMI) and 10% set-aside for residents at or below 45% of AMI. The project was financed with 9% Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) and SHIP funds in partnership with the City of Deland, Volusia County, and the Florida Housing Finance Corporation.
