Brain Health, Big Smiles: K2 Med Brings Wellness and Fun to Fern Grove

At Fern Grove Senior Apartments, wellness goes beyond four walls—it’s woven into the fabric of the community. In a recent event that blended healthcare and heart, our residents were treated to a special visit from K2 Med, whose mobile clinic provided free memory health screenings, wellness consultations, and personalized resources to support long-term brain health and overall well-being.

The event was made possible through AGPM’s partnership with The Tree House Foundation, a longtime advocate for resident support across our communities. Together, we transformed a communal space into a welcoming, accessible environment where seniors could receive expert care, ask important health questions, and feel truly seen.

But it wasn’t all checkups and charts—K2 Med also hosted a lively game day, giving residents the chance to laugh, connect, and exercise their minds through fun and engaging activities. The day was filled with both meaningful conversations and moments of joy, helping reinforce the importance of holistic care—body, mind, and spirit.

As one of Orlando’s newest affordable senior housing communities, Fern Grove is committed to providing more than just housing—we’re focused on ensuring residents have the tools, access, and support they need to thrive.

Even more exciting? This is just the beginning. Additional Brain Health events with K2 Med are already in the works, with plans to bring similar programming to other AGPM-managed senior communities across Florida.
