Tyara is the Vice President of Property & Asset Management at AGPM, LLC. A seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry, she has held senior roles overseeing more than $2 billion in redevelopment projects. Her portfolio includes culturally significant landmark assets, spanning top-of-market luxury developments and complex mixed-use/affordable communities.
Tyara brings specialized expertise in affordable housing preservation through acquisition rehabilitations—an exciting and growing focus for AGPM in partnership with our affiliate company, Poplar Development Group (PDG).
She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and an MBA with a concentration in Strategic Leadership from Rutgers University in Camden, NJ. Tyara also holds several key industry certifications, including Accredited Resident Manager (ARM), Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS), Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP), Assisted Housing Manager (AHM), Certified Association Manager (CAM), along with multiple state-issued real estate broker licenses.
In her role at AGPM, Tyara oversees our Georgia portfolio of owned assets and leads core asset management functions across our Missouri and Colorado portfolios. She also directs all acquisition rehab and preservation efforts in collaboration with PDG. Additionally, she works closely with our Accounting, Finance, and Tax teams to strengthen cross-functional synergies, enhance operational protocols, and drive strategic initiatives to optimize portfolio performance.
